Sparks may be the free stuff tonight, but rumor has it this is one of the best places in lower Manhattan to get rum drunk on a "dark and stormy." Kids with Snakes, Jake Destruction and rekLES provide the jams, mon.

Apparently this is one of the best burger joints in town. What better way to wake up and seize the day than shoving 5 lbs of meat (or meat-substitute) down your gullet and washing it down with a salty, spicy alcholic beverage. Deal good on Sundays too.

A little pricey, but keep the address in mind. Every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 3pm, they're offering all-you-can-drink Bloody Marys and mimosas for $20, which includes brunch. The food's delicious -- no restaurant in this hood can survive if it sucks (except Pacifico).

Man, I love summertime in the art world. It reminds me of summer camp when I used to sneak out of the bunks to go smoke with the pasty Irish counselor. He would make fun of everyone and then try to get me to make out with him while insisting that blow jobs in Dublin are as common as drunks and potatoes.

What are the Six Six Sick Girls all about? (This'll be the second time we quote Paper Magazine in this week's list.)
"Rival Asian Girl Gangs Turf Wars + Underage Scandinavian Male Models + Unspeakable Degenerate Inhuman Behavior. Kind of like the Kalevala re-written as a 70's Japanese explotation film."
And they're hosting tonight, along with resident DJs Stephen and Jyan along with guest DJ Micprobe. Bring your Samurai swords.

"The feeling of summer is one in which a certain lightness of spirit is conjoined with the transitive passing of time." It is also one of burnt skin, dirty feet, bug bites, stifling humidity, summer breakups, etc. All depends on your outlook, I guess.
